After writing my three posts on the forced snatching of children in Norway, I did a bit of Google search and found that the forced separation of children from their mothers is a widespread tyranny in many Western societies that includes not just Norway but also in the UK, USA and Australia.
Fortunately, the Australians have now realized their folly and apologized to thousands of mothers where they did this in the past. There appears to be a deep-rooted insensitivity to the precious bond that exists between a mother and child in western society. Recently an obese child was removed from his mother (http://forcechange.com/9962/return-home-the-obese-child-who-was-forced-into-foster-care/)
It is true that parents in bringing up their children make some mistakes at times. It happens in every home. The solution is not the separation of the child from the mother but it lies in providing counseling within the home. It is perhaps because of such cruel practices that western society has been unable to achieve happiness even though they have achieved a high level of development. They achieve consistently high ratings on the Human Development Index but consistently low one’s on the Human Happiness Index. Countries like Bhutan and India score high on the latter.
I do not mean to suggest that my western friends should return to Christianity but a return to principles of basic human love is necessary for human happiness and the strongest example of this is the love between a mother and child. It must not be destroyed. Is it possible that unhappily married, frigid and barren social workers are running amuck in western society to satisfy the deep seated cruelty and hatred of evil hearts? In Asian countries like India even women criminals are allowed to carry their babies into prison by law. Here is what a UK lawyer says about it,
“Adoption is a wonderful thing for abandoned and neglected children if it is TRULY VOLUNTARY but is a wicked deed that should be severely punished if forced through the courts against the will and frantic opposition of loving parents. Worse still these parent VICTIMS are ruthlessly gagged!! Yes, here in the UK secret courts jail parents who dare to protest publicly when social workers take their babies at birth and arrange for them to be adopted ” Ian Josephs M.A. (Oxon) http://www.forced-adoption.com/introduction.asp

Funny, I seriously considered adopting a child from Haiti instead of creating one manually, which challenges my ethics a bit.
There are plenty of orphaned children in Haiti, most of whom will have a painful partial childhood before they die if they are not adopted.
What stopped me, at least for now, is that I learned that it is nearly impossible to do because of the complexity of the U.S. laws around adoption of a foreign child (or even of an American citizen).
John it is a great pleasure to adopt a child who is otherwise orphaned and neglected. I have enjoyed that pleasure because I only had daughters and adopted a poor village boy as a son and educated him at home even after he was a bit grown up for education. He reads and writes very well now and has been a true and faithful son, more than any real one of my own could be. He has family back home in his original village too and he divides time between both, now more than before because he is married and has a child with his wife preferring to stay in the village.
