A fellow blogger (Keiko) commented after reading one or more of my posts
“Most readers do not like lecturing or prophet-like talk”
Personally, I love lectures and prophet-like talk if the topic interests me and the matter makes sense. I am highly flattered and delighted that a blogger has found some of my posts to be such.
The photo is of one of the Prophets I have loved. He is called Neem Karoli Baba who lived frequently near Nainital while he was in this world. I read somewhere that he was also a favorite of Steve Jobs, former Apple CEO who made a trip all the way to India when he was much younger to visit him.

I agree. Lecturing, profit like talk. Another word for it: "passion."
I like reading the words of someone with something to say, especially something original.
Amen.
Thanks John

some Days after i wrote the blogpost on 'future of world econmies'the IMF chief came out a couple od days ago and yesterday in a press conference saying many of the same things. Her press conference also addressed the matter of trade deficits posted in an earlier post.
Understandably the opinion of the IMF chief was based on much world economic data and analysis. Mine was not. It was based on brief sketches from the news and an intutive undestanding of human progress and history.
Keiko might label that as prophetic :-) I am worried about her since I heard in the news that Japan has had another serious typhoon. I hope that this is the last. The Japanese people have faced enough.
